This Privacy Policy explains how MV2 ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information. MV2 is an open-source, third-party client for the V2EX community built with .NET MAUI.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in privacy by design. For the current version (v1.0) of the app:

Personal Information: We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
Login Credentials: This version is strictly read-only and does not support user login. We do not touch your V2EX passwords or session cookies.
Usage Data: We do not track your browsing history or search queries within the app.

2. Third-Party Services

Our app functions as a client to display content from the V2EX community. All data (topics, replies, nodes) is fetched directly from the public V2EX API. Please refer to V2EX's own privacy policy regarding how they handle data on their platform.

3. External Links

The app contains links to external websites (User-Generated Content). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
