Privacy Policy

MV2 is an open-source, third-party V2EX client built with Flutter. MV2 is not affiliated with or endorsed by V2EX.

1. Information handled by the app

MV2 is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection. Depending on the features you use, the app may handle the following information:

V2EX account session information: when you sign in, authentication requests are sent to V2EX. Session information required to keep you signed in may be stored locally on your device.
App preferences and local data: settings, drafts, browsing-related cache, saved items and similar app state may be stored locally on your device.
Notification data: if you enable push notifications, device notification identifiers and the minimum information required to deliver notifications may be processed by the notification infrastructure used by MV2.
Diagnostics: platform or third-party service providers used by the app may process technical diagnostics needed to operate, secure or improve the application.

MV2 does not operate a separate account system for replacing your V2EX account. Your V2EX account remains governed by V2EX.

2. Third-party services

MV2 communicates with V2EX to retrieve community content and perform account actions requested by you. The app may also use platform services such as Firebase and Cloudflare-backed infrastructure for functionality including notifications and related app services.

These third-party services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

3. External links and user-generated content

Topics and replies may contain links to third-party websites. Those websites are not controlled by MV2. Please review their privacy practices before providing information to them.

4. Data deletion

Most MV2-specific data is stored locally and can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. For requests related to data handled by MV2-operated services, see our Data Deletion page. V2EX account data must be managed through V2EX.

5. Changes

We may update this policy when MV2 features or service providers change. The latest version will be published on this page.

1. 应用处理的信息

MV2 的设计原则是尽量减少不必要的数据收集。根据您实际使用的功能，应用可能处理以下信息：

V2EX 登录会话：当您登录时，认证请求会发送至 V2EX。为了保持登录状态，必要的会话信息可能会保存在您的设备本地。
应用偏好与本地数据：设置、草稿、浏览缓存、收藏或稍后阅读等应用状态可能保存在设备本地。
推送通知数据：如果启用推送通知，设备通知标识以及完成通知投递所需的最少信息可能由 MV2 使用的通知基础设施处理。
诊断信息：应用使用的平台服务或第三方服务可能处理运行、稳定性、安全性相关的技术诊断信息。

MV2 不提供一套独立账号系统来替代 V2EX 账号。您的 V2EX 账号仍由 V2EX 管理。

2. 第三方服务

MV2 会连接 V2EX，以获取社区内容并执行您主动发起的账号操作。应用也可能使用 Firebase、Cloudflare 等服务来提供通知及其他基础能力。

这些第三方服务会按照其各自的条款和隐私政策处理相关数据。

3. 外部链接与用户生成内容

主题和回复中可能包含第三方网站链接，这些网站不受 MV2 控制。请在向第三方网站提供信息前自行查看其隐私政策。

4. 数据删除

大部分 MV2 数据保存在设备本地，可通过清除应用数据或卸载应用删除。如需处理由 MV2 自有服务保存的数据，请查看数据删除说明。V2EX 账号相关数据需要通过 V2EX 管理。

5. 政策变更

当 MV2 的功能或所使用的服务发生变化时，我们可能更新本政策。最新版会发布在本页面。
